Naoussa, Antiparos and Despotiko, and a short hop to Naxos and the Small Cyclades.
Overview
Discover Paros by yacht
A yacht charter Paros plan puts you at the centre of the Cyclades, within easy reach of half a dozen islands. Paros sits in the middle of the Cyclades, which makes it a practical starting point. Antiparos and the uninhabited islet of Despotiko are just off its southwest coast, and Naxos is next door.
From Paros you can take a relaxed day cruise around Antiparos or plan a week through the Small Cyclades, such as Koufonisia, Schinoussa and Iraklia. Some of the clearest water in the Aegean is there.

Yacht charter Paros: Antiparos, Naxos and the Small Cyclades

Why Paros is a good base
Paros lies in the middle of the Cyclades, next to Naxos and a short hop from Antiparos. The main harbour, Paroikia, has ferry connections to Piraeus and the other islands, and Paros has its own airport with flights from Athens. Naoussa, on the north coast, is a fishing harbour with a small marina and a busy waterfront.
From Paros most of the central Cyclades are within half a day: Antiparos, Despotiko, Naxos, Ios, the Small Cyclades and, in good weather, Mykonos and Syros.

Antiparos and Despotiko
Antiparos is separated from Paros by a narrow, shallow channel. The bays around Antiparos and the uninhabited island of Despotiko, to its south-west, are some of the best swimming spots in the Cyclades. Despotiko is home to an archaeological site with an ancient sanctuary of Apollo that is still being excavated. These are ideal stops for a private day cruise.
Wind and seasons
Like the rest of the Cyclades, Paros is exposed to the meltemi in July and August. The south and west coasts of Paros and Antiparos are often more sheltered in a north wind, which helps on day cruises. For week-long routes in midsummer a skipper who knows the area is recommended. May, June and September are good months for lighter winds.

How booking works
Booking a yacht charter in Paros with Astra Yachting follows the same steps every time. You send your preferred dates, the number of guests, the type of charter you want (bareboat, skippered or crewed) and any must-see stops. We check live availability with the yacht owners and charter fleets we work with, and come back with the yachts that are actually free for your dates, their exact specifications and a written quotation.
Once you choose a yacht, you receive the charter agreement and the payment schedule; our Booking Terms & Conditions and charter FAQs set out each step, from the crew list to embarkation day.
On embarkation day you meet the yacht in Paros (Paroikia or Naoussa), go through the check-in and safety briefing, and set off. During the charter you can reach us by phone or WhatsApp on +30 693 918 6245.
What is included and what is extra
Every quotation for a yacht charter in Paros lists what the charter fee covers, so there are no surprises. As a rule, the fee covers the use of the yacht for the agreed period, its standard equipment and the yacht's insurance. On skippered and crewed charters it also covers the skipper or crew wages.
Fuel, marina fees, the final cleaning, optional extras and the security deposit are usually charged separately. The FAQs explain each item, and your written quotation lists them for the yacht you choose.
We do not publish fixed prices on these pages because rates depend on the yacht, the week of the season and the charter format. Ask for a quotation and you get the real price for your dates.
